Yes, my 2 piece DBA (they are slotted) were all rusted and pitted from sitting for 2 years in my garage, I had to have them cut. They came out fine, but a little more material was taken off then I would have liked. Regardless, the rotors are working fine, probably have just shortened their life span.

Im not even sure if I should cut them. I got them used and the high spots are marked in yellow, but I cant see any variation in the score mark that was used to check them.

I might just throw them on and see how they feel

Where did you get yours cut

I got mine cut at G&S tire Dekalb Pike and Township line Rd in Blue Bell, they did ok. Sal (aka The Natural) is a mechanic at a Chevy dealer who can do the too. That would take a little planning and effort though on your part because he is in Jersey. He does run with Philly region all the time where you could meet up.

Personally, I would not cut any rotors unless there was a real problem with them. Meaning if they feel fine when in use leave them. You could re-bed your pads when you install them, that may wear the high spots off. Maybe go buy some "Garnett" sandpaper and scuff them up prior to using them. When I bedded the Carbotech pads they recommended doing that to the rotors.

Do not use anything with Aluminum Oxide, it will cause rust or something like that. Garnett is a natural stone that does not contain AO, I got mine at Harbor Freight, but it should be easy to get.

here is a clip of the last session of the day from NJMP on Friday 4/16 if anyone cares to watch. had some fun keeping up with a slicked C5 as well as getting around a few others.

http://vimeo.com/11062902

this is a very smooth flowing track if/when you're on the line. the constant elevation changes really make it interesting. Top speed on the straight was in the high 120's low 130's in 5th with less than 1.5bar boost. I was lifting off the throttle before the start/finish line and coasting to turn one to save my pads/fluid. Could have pushed it harder but I was having a blast at this level so I felt no need to add risk for zero reward.

Car performed flawlessly all day and then I beat the snot out of it a little more on sunday at the T&T.
