So more and more I'm thinking the noise in the front end of my car is coming from the pass side strut. I may have to pull the fronts and send them out to be rebuilt, but can't do that until Mom goes back to Az and I get my car DD back.

Any of you guys know anyone who has sent struts back to Bilstein to be redone? Any idea how long it takes to get them back?

Tried to find you a number with no success, but here a link with the service charges and paperwork you would need to complete. Might as well do all four.

Doug, that would be great. I sold mine like a jackass...

I'm not sure when I'll be doing this so I'll just have to let you know if I'll need them. Thanks for the offer guy.

Wow, just looking at that link Chu, to get the strut bearing replaced (which may be the issue, not sure) is another $100ea. Ouch.

might be better to just buy another set rather than having them repaired... if they are even broken.

Well, it says $65 for a complete rebuild of standard shock, which I believe the Evo Bilsteins fall under. Why would you need the strut bearing? That goes in the tophat, and is completely separate from the shock assembly. Did you add grease to the strut bearing when you did the swap? Correct me if I'm wrong someone!

I don't know what the hell I'm doing... I guess I'll just install the parts I have and see if that fixes it. I just don't wanna pay for multiple alignments.
