Its only allowed in certain districts and such. It's not a nationwide thing in the netherlands.

 

I did not know that. I always thought Amsterdam was like a weed mecca... like its their major tourest attraction.

^ I believe they've outlawed smoking in public places. This was a major blow to the "coffee shops" and businesses alike that sell the stuff. I guess you can still buy it there but you can't light up...?

 

O lol I thought it was something different than that. Same deal with the red light district. Kind of a **** hole if you ask me. Go to Colorado instead!

I had heard something to that effect, but I don't believe that to be the case. I have a few friends that recently visited Amsterdam, and they said that you could smoke in coffee shops (just not cigarettes).

As far as Amsterdam being a Mecca; if your going there only for the Pot, you may be better off just going to California. Cheaper to visit, and the quality is right there with mostly anything you'll find in Holland. That and it may be state legal in CA this fall.

They have Brothels in Colorado?

 

I don't think I would ever go there just for the pot. When I was back in HS it was like the 'thing' to go over there. My wife has been there three times and brought me back some souvenirs, but she never indulged in the local cuisine. Very true about Cali. heck, wait a little longer and you'll just have to travel across the PATP into NJ...
