and i guess you'd just have to buy another evo just for looks and intact drivetrain given that you have a 4g64 waiting to be built.

Gentlemen, need some advice on how to proceed with my new part install.

I will be getting my clutch job done this Saturday at GV and I want to put on parts the following weekend. But I'd like to do a baseline run before I start putting mods in. Now, how many miles will I need to put on the new clutch before I can do a WOT pull safely on a dyno? Does it even matter at all for a dyno pull?

If I need more miles than I can pile on before the following weekend, I will have to postpone my part install by either 1 week or 3 weeks, and I really dont wanna have to wait 4 weeks. I've waited 2 years, and waiting any longer sucks.

The miles thing is just a rule of thumb man...just do a week's worth of stop and go traffic and you're good to go! Hop on 95 or 76 in the Am and PM during rush and you're good for WOT in about a week!

I live like 10 mins from work and traffic is not bad at all.

I guess I'll just take the longest route to home/work just for the heck of breaking-in. Find the most busiest route with the most traffic lights.

Who is doing your baseline pull? You should have who ever is tuning it do it so that it is done on the same dyno.

Yup, That is still up for grabs though. My whole Northern VA - Philly thing makes it kinda hard. There aren't as many decent shops out there though. I don't mind forking out a little extra for doing a pre and post mod pull on a dyno even if its not the same place that's gonna be tuning. I just need something for reference.

All this is still just in my head, I may just decide to go with petey and do everything on his dyno. But like I said, Logistics is a b1tch right now for me.

Then you better plan it all out carefully.
