woo hoo, looks like I'm going to get to instruct at another HPDE. This weekend the SCCA is doing one at Lightning and I'll be instructing on Sunday. I've been wanting to get back on that track since August. The forecast is calling for rain with a chance of snow... should be 'interesting'.
so the dealer just called and said my clutch looks worn he said it should be replaced....im starting to get annoyed the clutch is like 6 months old. Guess their looking for any money they can
Tell them its practically brand new. Tell them to measure the friction disc thickness. Tell them to send pics of any waves/scorching on the flywheel. Then tell them to suck it.
I did he said it was 2/32. I said ill be down at lunch to check it out and if its gone ill have a new one for you to install tomorrow
i was just looking at my post history to see if i could find some really early ones but it only goes that far back. then i came across that whole interaction so i thought it would be funny to quote and respond to one of his most scathing posts but he edited all of them and some were deleted. he edited them to make it look like we were going at him hard and he was just defending himself. that isn't how i remember things.
