Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards

I did not want to launch Shoe's car and I am sure he did not want me launching it.
REALLY, I totally did soft and easy launches in Shoe's car. It seemed unecessary to launch because you had to get through the first gate after launch. I think launching hard would upset the car and make it difficult to get through there. That said maybe I am wrong and would have surely tried it just to see. If Chase did it more than once than it must have gained something. I bring this up because it was probably 2/10's time saved by Chase, so I beat him better than .026!

just like I did
just a friend. There is a good possibility she will be co-driving my car at a future event.

oddly enough the harder you brake the easier it (heel-toe) becomes. I think on the street is actually more difficult than at the track because the brake pedal isn't pushed all the way down, so its not lined up with the gas which makes that thorttle 'blip' more difficult.
this is something i'd love to practice on a track setting, i think there are some holes in my technique that will become very clear on a track.
oops, im not allowed to talk technical ... sorry marc!
just for giggles I dumped the reg list for the PCA event Pete and I are doing next week into excel to see the car count.
109 total registered so far
9 - BWM's
2 - Corvettes
3 - Mustangs
3 - lotus (lotie??)
2 - Mazads
2 - EVO's (yeah baby)
88 - Porsches, lol
its gonna be ON!

Haha, that would have been funny. Sorry for not introducing her, I'm awful with social formalities.

If I had got the course down, i would have tried it. Since i was plowing through every turn, there didn't seem to be a point in launching
yup, downshifting under light braking took me years to get down ... but i find that heavy braking high rpm downshifts are relatively easy. The hard part is not releasing any brake pressure AND not breaking your concentration.

effective birth control.
I keep wimping out when it comes to signing up.
Remember, you excluded me from the murder and hookers discussion? My feelings have been hurt ever since. Of course, i wouldnt have contributed anyway, especially since dan and ben are so knowlegdable.
