REALLY, I totally did soft and easy launches in Shoe's car. It seemed unecessary to launch because you had to get through the first gate after launch. I think launching hard would upset the car and make it difficult to get through there. That said maybe I am wrong and would have surely tried it just to see. If Chase did it more than once than it must have gained something. I bring this up because it was probably 2/10's time saved by Chase, so I beat him better than .026!
I did not want to launch Shoe's car and I am sure he did not want me launching it.

don't use ricer math. that .026 was all in those lightweight lugs... if not for them you would have had your a$$ handed to you on a Weightless White platter by a 20yr old cripple.

Haha, that would have been funny. Sorry for not introducing her, I'm awful with social formalities.

just a friend. There is a good possibility she will be co-driving my car at a future event.

If I had got the course down, i would have tried it. Since i was plowing through every turn, there didn't seem to be a point in launching

yup, downshifting under light braking took me years to get down ... but i find that heavy braking high rpm downshifts are relatively easy. The hard part is not releasing any brake pressure AND not breaking your concentration.

this is something i'd love to practice on a track setting, i think there are some holes in my technique that will become very clear on a track.

oops, im not allowed to talk technical ... sorry marc!

Tim, was launching on Sunday. Not full on launches because you had to turn pretty quickly but it was enough to spin all four tires off the start

Yeah Marc, I was kinda sad to see the GTR no longer registered, however there is a 2011 Turbo S in my run group.. How do you think he's gonna feel when he has to waive me by?

I keep wimping out when it comes to signing up.

Remember, you excluded me from the murder and hookers discussion? My feelings have been hurt ever since. Of course, i wouldnt have contributed anyway, especially since dan and ben are so knowlegdable.

I watched that almost everytime.. Seemed like clutch slip rather than wheel spin to me, but I wasn't in the car.
