I don't really know much about the 350z. I only know of one guy who tracks one, Rick is his name, and its ALL done up. Its an 03 and he said he paid $15k for it and put another $20-$25k in mods. Pete might know who I'm talking about, he runs with the guy who has the blue C6 Z06 (Paul) thats all stickered up. they're at all the PCA events. They were the guys last year who cooked us those awesome sausages and burgers. Anyway, on Ricks' 350z the dude has wheels, hoosiers, coils, big brake kit, cage, seats, motor work, bolt-ons, pretty much everything you can do to the car. All that invested and its still slow. So slow that my buddy cupcake has no problem getting around him in his bone stock e36m. Now a lot of that is driver, but Rick is no slouch IMO. There are some guys ion 370z's tearing up the C Stock class at the local autox, but I believe they are being driven by national champion(s).

as far as the e36M... I would take one of those over a 350z any day of the week. I think it is one of the best all around track cars you can get for under $10k.

Personally, the e36m is almost a unicorn car of mine. But its almost resounding how expensive they can still be! I'm thinking of selling my 335 for an e36er. There is nothing more beautiful than an estoril or tiag e36 m3

We kick the sh*t in here. Meets are random at best. There is locals that do the Street Road Sonic meet on Thursdays.

welcome. Too bad James isn't here for a formal introduction...

If you like car meets, shows and cosmetic mods this probably isn't the group for you. However, if you enjoy driving your car, be it drag, autox or road racing then you will fit in fine.

I would be mad jelly if you were to get an E36m. I have my eye on a few local ones, if you need some enticing LMK.

Honestly, I would love to own an E36 and if I could have afforded one instead of getting the E30 I would have went that route. I look at the BMW forums daily hoping to find a sweet deal. I'm hoping I can drive the e30 for a while and eventually sell it to upgrade to an e36 M3.

we all hang out regularly. i wouldn't call them meets though. in the summer it's autox or track days or days at drag strips. in the fall/winter it's more to get together and have some beers and BS or work on each other's cars. mr. alwaysinboost usually initiates a night of carting at LVGP on mondays that i have yet to take him up on.

as said before, this isn't necessarily a hardparking group (not that there is anything wrong with it but once you stop hardparking you'll love the rolling alternative) but all are welcomed to hang out.

Plumber have lots of *** raping tools. They're the worst ones to be *** raped by. You're pretty stiff when you walk though so maybe this put a little swagger in your step. Consider it a turning point in your life.

I enjoy the fact that I can now use my kitchen sink and washing machine again... Didn't enjoy the rape so much.

Any one have any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm working 6-330 tomorrow, should be awesome!

If any of you want to watch some good racing, F1 is at Spa this weekend. Top 5 track on the planet IMO. Quali at 8am tomorrow, GP at 8am Sunday.

Ill probably be holed up in my basement as jersey gets flatened.

Sunday will probably be spent digging through rubble in search of survivors.

I'll check out this race at spa, I've only had the privilege of watching a few laps of a race there, very cool track. Although personally I think suzuka is fun to watch (editors note - wtf am i talking about, lol).

what channel? I'll have to DVR that ish.

what all did the plumber have to do for you? Being a homowner you should learn a few basic skills... the internets can haz how-to's on just about everything.

should be an interesting weekend. I'm not buying into all the weather hype just yet though... I plan to lock myself in the garage and not come out till I'm done installing all the parts I've accumulated for the e30.
