The dude in the DSP BMW is pretty good driver from DC and the car is real prepped. Really wish I could have ran that course during 2nd or 3rd heat when it was all cleared off and a little warmer out in my car to see how I would have finished against him..

Pete - I have 275/forget size right now/17 Toyo RA1's that would work on your car. Maybe we could work something out for you to use them for a few events and the Pro, I need some $ for tires so this could help us both out.. All I have ever used these for was to test and tune my car on street. They have never seen a track day and probably have less than 500 miles on them. Tires are a few years old, but have all their tread. They should be better than any street tire, they are an r comp for road racing but similar to the Victoracers. Tires are on Enkei NTO3's that fit an Evo, I got these from wheels from RobiSpec for road racing and never used them.

 

Friend of mine is looking for 5mm spacers if anyone knows of anything.

Ferrari has done some really crazy stuff in their past when it comes to winning and being on top. Enzo himself was a cold hearted ba***** with no regard for human life. Listen to Carrol Shelby talk about Enzo Ferrari some time and you'll get a feel for what I'm talking about.. Either way, I'm not surprised by the stuff in that article, its probably at least half true.

Yes wheels and tires for a few events for a few $. I will come up with a per event rental charge for you (it will be on the cheap) and we will come up for a charge for Pro. This way if you try and like them great and if not no big deal for either of us.

 

my dads getting a SES light on his X. last time I scanned it for codes i think it was p300 which is random multiple cyl misfire aka spark plugs generally.

are all you X guys going with stock plugs are trying other stuff out? hes going to try an pick up a set today or tomorrow.

you guys sound like you had a ton of fun. im trying to get to summit in april and then marc were going to NJMP. I have some friends down here who keep bugging me to go and i wana see the track. just need some extra pads and ill be good to go
