Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
u need a real ski waxing iron otherwise the holes in the standard iron mixed with the steam with throw off the waxing compound when it is drying. a flat iron, or old school solid iron you sit by the fire to heat works wonders. kittens if you get a card and i dont im coming after you illadelph style.
shaw still cant find my iron, may have left it at school. ill ask around and see who i know that has one. ill get it hooked up no worries.

so who thinks i can stuff some 265/40/17 star specs on those rpf1 wheels lowered on teins without hitting the strut inside? this new 50 buck rebate thing has me thinking, and those yokos are pretty much shot haha

Wouldn't worry about the strut as much as the fenders!
oh i already know the fenders would be a huge problem but prob not much more than the 255s already are. if im gona roll/cut them i might as well go wider! i know/think 275 will hit the strut, not sure about 265s...thats why im asking...
kittens dont make me kick you a$$ and ship you back to texas...i know everything is bigger in texas, but if thats true WTF happened to you!? haha jus playing

I have teins too sadly. 17s are probably what Ill end up with. Im not a fan of larger diameter. My goal is to save weight and get as much tire on the ground as possible. its all in the name of racing. Both autox and a few passes at the track once I get the speed density naile down. I have a drag race bet going with a neighbor and his big block 450+ whp 69 camaro. Nice guy but Im going to smoke his ***. Its shaping up to be a good year with the stroker wheels and maybe an e85 switch. I might even sell the hx35 and get an hx40 tgis summer if all goes according to plan.
Milkman... right!
lol
My car has developed a knocking clunk from my front drivers side strut tower area. The car made a tiny deeper noise and now its higher pitched and louder. Doesn't do it all the time but I've noticed it over bumps and chassis flex, speed bumps, etc. My initial reaction was ball joints but this sounds like the actual strut making noise. I have no clue.

If the ball joint boot is busted open, it's bad.
If the strut has a trace amout of oil leaking where the piston goes into te assembly, it's bad.
Chances are, struts go bad long before ball joints (usually) so I'd bet the issue is the strut.
Were you hitting on some guys girl or something? Those are the best.
Its easy to figure out. Jack up the car and take the wheel off.
