u need a real ski waxing iron otherwise the holes in the standard iron mixed with the steam with throw off the waxing compound when it is drying. a flat iron, or old school solid iron you sit by the fire to heat works wonders. kittens if you get a card and i dont im coming after you illadelph style.

shaw still cant find my iron, may have left it at school. ill ask around and see who i know that has one. ill get it hooked up no worries.

Bring it ***** lol. I know the steam holes(even if they aren't working) aren't helping me at all, I'm too cheap to buy an iron.

Wouldn't worry about the strut as much as the fenders!

I don't see any reason you can't fit some 265s. I fit 255/35/18 on 18x9.5 +17 with room to spare.

Its shaping up to be a good year with the stroker wheels and maybe an e85 switch. I might even sell the hx35 and get an hx40 tgis summer if all goes according to plan.
Scrap the holsets and get a borg warner!!

My car has developed a knocking clunk from my front drivers side strut tower area. The car made a tiny deeper noise and now its higher pitched and louder. Doesn't do it all the time but I've noticed it over bumps and chassis flex, speed bumps, etc. My initial reaction was ball joints but this sounds like the actual strut making noise. I have no clue.

Its easy to figure out. Jack up the car and take the wheel off.

If the ball joint boot is busted open, it's bad.
If the strut has a trace amout of oil leaking where the piston goes into te assembly, it's bad.

Chances are, struts go bad long before ball joints (usually) so I'd bet the issue is the strut.
