I was talking about the Solo events coming up in Nassau Coloseum in Uniondale, New York. Heres what their solo schedule looks like

SATURDAY JULY 24th

SATURDAY AUGUST 14th [EVOLUTION SCHOOL - NO POINTS]

SATURDAY AUGUST 21st

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 26th

I leaning towards Evo school phase 1 and then doing the August 21st run...or maybe I'll just do all of it lol.

 

I'll do an HPDE once I prove to myself that I can be an average autoxer.

 

HPDE's are the bee's knee's. I've never actually said that out loud and don't ever intend to, but it seemed like the perfect response to what you said.

ohh, I thought you were talking about something else. I can't speak for anyone else, but Im sticking close to home this season.

if the event on Sunday was your first you might be better off getting a couple more under your belt before doing an EVO school. just to cement the basics down so you can concentrate more on the finer points. The philly region has a pretty good and inexpensive novice program... its worth looking into.

so Dan, where's the meet this weekend?

I'll probably bring the wife along too. We only get to meet on weekends and I would feel incredibly guilty if I left her alone while I'm at the meet.

 

Wives don't do well at our meets...

 

Depends on the location of the meet... Not sure about all you guys but my wife is about as out-going as they come...

 

speaking of wifes and events. I'm planning on brining mine out to one of the warminster ones this year. we should try and organize it so all our wifes/GF's or life partners, if thats your thing, can meet. just an idea.

 

Well, if its going to be near some kind of a shopping mall, I'm sure I can leave her for an hour and finally meet you guys at the very least.

last we talked it was a happy hour in the city after work. we need to work out specifics.

if nobody is hosting it at their house then my vote goes to eulogy in old city for some good beer. i have a safe place to park so who is worried wont drive home with new door dings.

Everything in moderation with her, excessive amounts of alcohol (more than 2 or 3) leads to crying. There's a breaking point with Shel, I can see it coming but she never can, go figure.
