I know it was no lesson. You telling me what gear to be in was just funny. We were very even but if we didn't let off you would have pulled away because my boosting tapers off hard. There are things I can do to fix that but i think the only thng that would motivate me is if I started doing HPDE's.
From my experience you want the SLOWEST CAR POSSIBLE when your starting off with HPDE. My third track day ended with a 180 degree spin into a very forgiving wall of tires lol. Inexperience + fast car = HOLY **** THERES A HUGE WALL! I'm not telling you to not do track days, just be super careful and always listen to your instructor lol.
a lot of people forget that its a high performance driver education, not a race.
I was out earlier in my buddies GT500, intake, cat-back and flash, Car is fast boy! Hooks up well in 2nd gear, 1st its just all up on the limiter before the t/c can even kick in. Twas good times.
I just got my car up in the air, wheels off, and soaked the lower strut bolts in pb blaster, gonna swap em out in the am. Here's to hoping those eccentric bolts wanna come out *finges crossed*.

Cecil is the place to go if you wanna drink at the track... I know people who have taken a "roadie" down the strip with them while riding shootgun there. How bad is that!?!

I don't much of a choice... I can't see ick in my garage at night. I was out there with the flashlight getting the jack and jack-stands underneath it.
