It was Amy and her fastest time was a 1:22 something but it was clean in her 99' Elantra.

The next autox I plan to do is the one at warminster. Word has it that that lot kind of sucks.
its not a bad lot, very big and long (how you and chu like it I heard), but there are some bad spots. however, the course designers usually design the course around those 'features' so you don't have to worry.

Better watch out if you do come on the 13th Dan, I heard Amanda's gonna be there again with her Elantra.
I hope they're grandma's cookies.

that last part about Amanda and her Elantra is fu(kin funny though...
I remember tech'n that car thinking WTF was this girl thinking. you should have seen the state of dis-repair it was in. amazing she even finished the event w/o breaking down. she even had a bubble on the sidewall of her front tire, but we let her go and just told her to keep an eye on it. who would have thought she was going to out drive Dan.

OK, I'll keep the alignment specs as they are. The car does understeer a little compared to my Yokohama stock wheel setup though. We'll see. I'll just concentrate on learning to drive in an AutoX session instead of worrying about all this, it might be too much effort for nothing in return given my driving level. I sure hope its going to be warm to hot weather, the tires shine so much in that climate. If it rains, I'll be all over the place.

Also, I dont think the stock setup will alow that type of camber settigns anyway!

good point. I forget that not everyone has coils and can reach more the -2* camber. I was running more camber last year on Z1's then I am now on hoosiers because I needed the strut to wheel clearance for the larger width tires.

Depending on the night, you can get a bunch of runs at Maple Grove. I did 7 within 2 hours at MG one night. That is the exception, but it can happen.

Maple Grove also redid their launch pad this year.

Sorry Dan, that made me chuckle.

**I'll be with you when I finally auto-x.**

In other news....I survived my bachelor party in Atlantic City this weekend. Stayed at the Borgota in a rediculously expensive suite on Saturday night. Didn't win any cash gambling either, so no new turbo kit for me this year. I was playing 3 card poker and the one guy hit a stright flush at the table. He won $2,500....if only...

you need to do an autox badly. josh and john both went off course frequently. i just did it more.....er for all my runs. if you're good at following figure 8 racing with some slaloms tossed in then you'd be a shoe in.

i heard about your bachelor party from nick. i guess my invitation got lost or something. if you need my address PM me

Really!!! Somehow I feel more in control with my Winter setup (Michelin PA3 in stock dimensions and on stock wheel) in the rain.
