i am trying to contact pic on the cost of a rebuild (just in case).
PIC actually makes a very nice set of coilovers for the price. I was set on getting these before getting my current setup. Those aren't the PreSet Selects as the thread stated however. The Preset Selects are another version tuned by Pure Tuning, use Swift springs. Those are the regular 8way adjustable version and retail for $1400 new. I dont get how those are so rusted though. Seems liek the guy had them sitting out in the rain for a long time.

Yeah, the rust didn't bother me at first, but it seems a little unnatural to me now. This is the third set of tso coilovers i've debated buying

they look a little ruff... and those rates are much higher than what you want to run with your all-season. what suspension are you on now? for the money ($450) couldn't you get a decent spring strut setup and save up your money for a real good coilover setup a few years down the road when you're ready?

Your correct about the spring rates, it would be too stiff for the tires. And after my performance in the rain sunday, I don't think I've earned an upgrade yet

I currently have swift spec-r's on KYB's. I bought a set of cheap bilstiens that i plan to rebuild. I might just stick to that.

The bilstiens make a huge difference over the KYB's IMO.

I have the bilstien gtworx combo and its sweet and cheap

we were talking about stocks the other day... it looks like BP has settled down, over the last couple days its slowly been creeping up a couple %. Currently its 50% down from its high this year. IMO it hit bottom and will slowly rise from here on out.

I bought some of their stock a couple years ago when it was 18% higher then what it is currently and it was a good buy then. I'm buying more now at this new 13yr low to dollar cost average my shares. not giving stock advice here, just sharing my thoughts on the subject if anyone cares to listen. Buy at your own risk and don't expect this to jump back up overnight. I'd say it will be 1 year at least until its back to where it was before this whole thing happened... but I am betting that it will bounce back.
