I didn't actually, I was looking for the thread I mentioned about the "squirters" being added to the 4g64. That was one of the first one's to pop up... It may even be the same thread I read before, it is from 2yrs ago. Looks like that guy paid just about $800 for the work they did, not too shabby.

When I initially heard on the radio that a Jefferson employee from Thorndale was murdered by a Tranny Hooker, I was immediately concerned that your 'habit' had finally caught up with you.

I saw that on the news last night. How could you not know, that chick was a dude...?

Sunday is shaping up to be a Evo vs M3 battle royal!

3 on 3 so far, even an E30 M3 joining the party.

I have enough parts laying around... don't need a block collecting dust too. Beside's, my queen isn't getting a large enough turbo anytime soon for something like that. Can you imagine what a 2.4l would be like with an VIII 9.8t on it? It would run out of breath by 5.5k.

Now if I had one of them fancy new HKS turbo's laying around... that might be a different story.

Someone already told me the HKS turbo spooled way TOO quick! It said to spool even quicker than the BBK. Do you remember an Asian guy with the Black IX at the CBRD meet we went to a year or two ago? He had a 2.3 with a stock IX turbo.

I can't say that I do... I've killed off too many braincell's since then.

Beside's I have a 2.3l coming my way.

no, not everyone

My plans are getting a 5 speed (Chu!) and sending it out to Shep to have it done, I want a taller 2nd gear for Autox. Also I will be having my shocks serviced, maybe a little revalving.. Then the car needs to see a dyno already, I have cam gears and have not adjusted them as of yet, so there should be some gains to be found. I really want my boost to come on sooner and try and get some more low end power. I have a electronic boost controller (Perrin) that is not installed, so maybe that would help with my boost levels better than a MBC does (Forge).

Good luck Marc! It sounds like it will be a beast!
I want to drive it this winter, maybe I should sell all my **** and codrive with you! Not that you are asking or anything! We could do your car to the hilt for SM and go win a jacket. It is kind of possible, with the right tool one of us could get lucky at Nats! I have tires wheels so we would have fresh rubber to practice and compete with. We would need some aero, the big wing and front spoiler it would be Hella tight or something like that! I am telling you, say the word and I will list my car for sale! Winning BSP run at Nats will bring some $ for my car... perfect time to sell

Marc or Mike, is a bump in displacement allowed in SM?

Just curious I have no idea...

I'm working on it. Basically wednesday I took the strut out to put new grease in the ball joint cup. That went well but when putting the strut back the little bolt that holds the brake line brackets snapped off

I made up a bracket that will hold it fine, but I still need to install it. Also, I need to get the lower eccentric bolts in. They aren't tough to do, but if everything isn't done right they can slip. Which would be bad.

I'll be there regardless, but I might be hard parking it. I figure you can just switch your number like i did last time.

I paid $40 to ship to them, so thats $360 total for the rebuild.

The shocks i bought were busted, so i got them for $250, which is an ok deal.

Make sure your know what you want before sending them in. I asked for an auto-x setup with a little extra low speed dampening. I figured this would give a good dampening curve, with some extra initial "spring" rate (i cant get anymore spring rate without going to coilovers). I like them, but they aren't as comfy as I expected they would be.

We'll see if this was a good choice when I get to abuse them.

a bump in displacement is allowed in SM, but it comes with a weight penalty which I am already over weight anyway (the car, not me) so it wouldn't matter because I'd be over the min weight reg for the increase.

Mike that sounds good except for for the fact that I can't campaign a car nationally with all I have going on at home & work... it just wouldn't work out schedule wise unless I quit my job and filed for divorce. I'm hoping to do a PRO or national event in '11, though.

You should sell your car while it still has the buzz from nats, but what would you get into?

Sounds like you did a lot of research Kenny!

EDIT: Did they change your high-speed dampening in response to the change in low speed?

I've got a place to stay at if you ever want to go down to DC. Its been discussed between wifey and I already... Although, being its a chicks house, I don't know how Karen would feel about that...?
