Al was my first Evo tune right at the point ECUflash was being released. It was supposed to be a stable tune but ended up being so lean and high timed that knock was out of control. This was before I ran meth. I averaged 12.4 throughout THE ENTIRE RPM RANGE and timing in the 9's at peak. Unbelievable that I didn't pop the motor during the week or so I ran it and even more incredible that my run at Maple Grove didn't seal the deal either. It ended up a pissing match on supraforums with him threatening to sue me in a PM because I was slandering him. I'm getting super pissed just thinking about it. That experience is the biggest reason I learned to tune my own car with ecuflash.

well you should be less busy on thursday so i wasnt so bored and i could feel justified in drinking beer. ive been waiting since 10 to crack one, but i feel a lil like i need to go to AA
My right rear brake rotor won't come off... its almost like the ebrake is holding it on. I had it so far out (while still being attached by something) it looked like the hib was gonna come apart. I'm gonna have to take it somewhere to get it replaced, I can't do it.

+1 and for some reason people think it always comes back to me. Alot of people have access to their own car's ECU now. Supposively I am telling people things about other peoples work that simply is not true. But it seems like whenever someone else says something it is automatically my fault.. Honestly I could give two craps about it but since it is the hot topic.. Would I be wrong for actually showing a person changes I made to their ECU? There are alot of ways to skin a cat, and you can have a wacky looking tune with numbers all over the place but it does not mean it will not give you the desired results..
With that said, you made my point exactly. With so many ways to access the ECU these days, whose to say the map in question was not changed by someone else than the original tuner? Or flashed over by mistake? Or the right map pulled? Or whatever. There are many possibilities, not to mention the skinning of the cat.
What I said wasn't necessarily a jab at you guys, but with my frustration with forums in general sometimes. I physically need to leave the room sometimes when reading these forums. Someday I will be in therapy for evolutionm.net.
Again, that is why I dont take the forum too seriously! If you come on here trying to get serious answers from "experts," you're not going to get it. This place is made of a bunch of opinionated a-holes, myself included, with no experience, trying to tell you the best way to do something. It's up to you to discover if whatever is being said is right or wrong!
