Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
You'll lose, lol. I'm kidding, we welcome everyone!
I don't know what got into me on Friday night, but I thought it would be a good idea to paint my tail lights. I read a couple of HOW-TO's on here using a heat gun, so I figured it couldn't be that bad, right. wrong. Took me over 2 hours just to seperate the plastic from the housing, then another +1 hour to scrape enough glue away so I could pull the part I need to paint. Not looking forward to doing #2. I'm actually considering just doing the one and leaving it like that. it was that much of a PITA.
I've tried once before and failed miserably. Hours of time wasted and at the very end when it looked like I was almost done....snap there goes the cover. Also had a vendor do it and he too failed and they leaked constantly. I gave up and just got some tint overlay which looks good until I have money to waste on something nicer.

That's what I've always assumed. I get the same number from Evoscan and VDR (within a few HP) so it would be awesome if they were accurate and my car in theory should be around there but I wouldn't bet on it. He has to be around 520ish WHP I would imagine on a standard dyno. I'd love to do a back to back comp of VDR ECUflash and a standard dyno to see if there is any accuracy there.
I want to in the worst way. Once the speed density is tuned I'm up for it. It would be nice to have real #'s even if I'm let down. We can't all make 700+ WHP on a stock X turbo.
Pete my wife had to show me. Hold ALT and PRINT SCREEN then paste the image to paint or something. I uploaded it here to the forum. I have no idea what my car weighs with me in it but I put 3175 in there. I weigh 180. It should be pretty accurate but I don't know how you would calculate smoothing. I left it at the default setting of 12.

Had an engineer show me the right way here at work
First is sandboy, he elected to log a million things at once

And here is jim, far from tuned but making progress on pump gas timing running E85 today

Have to admit, using this makes a tuner look like a god..I think it is a semi decent comparison tool though but with so many variables not known it makes it a bit tough. But if they allow it (after debate) in the dyno section why not lol. I guess I will keep you guys updated and ***** out other peoples cars haha
