what up ladies?!? whats going on? Dan, stylish you should def get it!

been putting in 15 hour days because of the damn holiday, fun times.

better news, went to a downtown bar in DC last thurs for a "networking" company night. didnt meet anyone from the company, met some nice girls tho. particularly one who was an elementary school teacher who was serving. her "personality" got me to sign up for a raffle. turns out i won!

any thursday I want, i get to drink free all night anything I want, friends get $2 shots, beers, mixers all night and the first 50 bills is free for the tab. should be pretty fun until friday morning work. if anyone is in DC second thurs of Dec come on out!

btw ill be back in the 610 that weekend (10th) if anyone wants to grab a beer or something, hit me up

I promised pics this morning, here they are:

Here's all the items laid out. HKS Turbo, JMF mani (coated, wrapped, and sealed, Titek 02 housing, and all OEM hardware.

For the doubters of the Titek... its a full cast piece. No divider wall. I think if it as a half-priced dump, without the noise.

Close-up of the turbo.

JM Fab tubular mani. Cheeco ceramic coated, DEI heat wrapped, and sealed. Bare mani looked great, but I'm more concerned with the heat.

Comparison of the HKS outlet pipe vs. OEM IX. A few guys who have the install recommended using the stocker. I didn't noticed the difference, so I feel like I wasted money here.

OEM Hardware

No studs

Coated studs in anti-seize and installed

Mounted o2 housing. Fitted like a glove.

Mani mounted. Everything together, finally. I still want to wrap the o2 housing.

what do you guys think of the welds on this? it just looks like a lot and makes it look sloppy.

Looks like you didn't miss a step Chu! That o2 housing looks nice, is that one of the better designs out now?

Thanks Mark. I could have saved a bunch of money just using the hardware provided with the HKS kit, but I was just no happy with the manifold and o2 housing gaskets...which was a 2 ply. I'm fairly happy with my decision. Hopefully, it makes it on the car this weekend.

I think its a much better design and craftsmenship than any other o2 housing currently on the market. The flange, cast body, and welds are superb. I make this comparison based on the Megan that I currently have, which has worked great. I can't comment on performance, and I don't think anyone ever tried to do a back to back comparison, as ppl seem to diss on it. But my assumption is it will flow just as well as a dump, without the added noise.

I'm sure it will flow well. I just wonder if the turbulance between the WG and turbine will be an issue at all... I'm sure mitus put a divider in there between the two for a reason. Not trying to hate at all, just sayin

I would send the picture to the place you bought it from and have it exchanged.
