Top Gear USA wasn't THAT bad last night. You can't hold it against them because Jeremy is one of the funniest guys on the planet. Im sure the episodes will get better. I will say this though, Tanner is the best driver out of all Top Gear hosts.

 

have mine DVR'd, hopefully I'll get to watch it before thanksgiving.

I agree that Tanner is a good driver. He usually waxes the track up with Paul Tracey on that show supercars exposed.

Im catching up on top gear, last night i watched the episode with Cameron Diaz, yum yum I like her!!!

 

Tanner sucks as a host though. I've never like him in any show he's on.

 

damn your a hater lol. He went from racecar driver, drifter, stunt driver, then tv host lol. If you ever went to any drifting events back in the day he was always a real nice guy and would talk to you about everything at the events.

 

Is that place still in Hamburg to ride dirt bikes ect.?

all 3 are horrible hosts. they copied absolutely every aspect of the british show. no good IMO. it is so bland. what's with testing 3 year old cars?

you know who i think is an awesome host when it comes to pulling someone from their sport and putting them on tv? that dude mayhem miller from bully beatdown on mtv.

Agreed, very poorly done. The hosts are not very likably, the jokes were stupid, and it is incredibly unoriginal. If they just wanted to make a carbon copy of the English show, they should have at least made fun of Southerners while they were in Georgia. Painting 'Nascar Sucks' on the side of a car is the deep south FTW!

 

Tanner was a douche. I would rather see Travis

I really don't know what the US show can do that the GB show hasn't already done. I mean, they've been on the air for how long now... I think we've seen every combination of land/sea/air/space/horse race at this point.

 

1) they can make it more EXTREME

and

2) they can cover all the GM cars that the real top gear hasn't.

and

3) they can add lots of teenage maturity level drama.
