Props to Puente Hills Mitsubishi (East LA) on Bluetooth problem
So I live in Valencia, CA and and purchased my WW Evo X GSR from Puente Hills Mitsubishi in July. Bert Wenceslao was my sales rep and was nothing but helpful and generous. I did my research before buying the Evo and Puente Hills had the best price and was most helpful to what I was looking for.
Living 1 mile from the Valencia dealership, I originally thought it would be easiest to buy the car from them since I am so close. The first time I went in there the sales manager tried to corner me and made the situation beyond uncomfortable. It wasn't until today that I lost my respect for the Valencia dealership...
So I get into my car after work today and the bluetooth wasn't working. I clicked on the 'Info' button and the 'Mobile' button was gone. When I clicked where it was I got the message 'Unable to display due to a system error'. WONDERFULLLLL. I only have 6k miles on the car and this was not what I wanted to see after work. I drove right to the Valencia dealership and explained the situation to them. I was then told that they wouldn't even take a look at it then, that they would need my car for a full day and that my entire nav system might have to be replace. On top of that they said it would have to be during the week since their tech resource was only available on weekdays. I was getting a little frustrated since I couldn't even get some advice or any help and like my mother would say growing up "its not what you say it's how you say it", so I just left.
I then called Bert at the Puente Hills Mitsubishi and he was more than helpful with how to fix the problem...so the Valencia Parts/Service couldn't help me and a Puente Hills sales rep had my bluetooth working in minutes. He just told me to push the 'talk' button on the steering wheel, say "set up", say "pair options...pair phone..etc". I just had to re-pair my phone and it was easy as 1,2,3.
Not a very interesting post, but I just wanted to say props to Bert and the Puente Hills dealership for being so helpful and that if your looking to buy an Evo X I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Avoid Valencia Mitsu
I too had a bad experience. I live near it as well. Also I thought I would by there until they basically tried to r*pe me. Now Iwon't even buy any parts there. They can kiss my *ss.
I bought at South Coast. Incredibly painless. In and out in 45 min. Got the price I wanted. 95% of the deal was done via emails.
I don't expect Valencia to be around much longer but hey...you never know.
Congrats on your new X!

considering that you didn't actually had any actual physical work done to the car, you should be happy - almost everyone who went to there for service or car purchases had a horrible experience, including damaged cars, ripoffs, lies, etc.
i wouldn't go back if i were you.

^Definitely do not plan on going back there for any reason. Luckily I work at Edwards AFB and there is an auto hobby shop with 5 lifts and all snap on tools so I can just do service work there.
