Guys take the email that is in the For Sale post and put it into facebook. He pops right up. I added him and he added me for about 10 minutes. There are pictures of this douche working on the evo like stripping it or something!

Anything stolen over $500 is a felony and police will treat it very seriously. I'm sure you have his VIN number as it was checked prior to the sale...hand that over along with his personal information with which you have since acquired. As everything matches to a T, they will take the time to look everything up and make a trip over to the residence. Good luck, stop posting and go do it!

Sorry I didn't get back to you about this kid. I asked my buddy (dreamsofevo) and talked to Mike (mikatat) and they both know the kid however Mike only knows him through car meets. I don't really know how much more to follow up on it however I HIGHLY suggest contacting your police department regarding this matter. I would avoid confrontational methods unless its via legal means. You have his information, his paypal account and his email so you can use all of that as evidence against this kid, your towns detective will then contact everett police to look into the matter.

 

I signed up yesterday just to say that it's scumbags like these that ruin it for EVERYBODY. This kid is lucky Migs is going to handle this in a legal manner... there are some people you just don't cross in this world and this scammer got lucky. I know it's too late to say, but always ask for a screen name picture tagged with the car you are buying with a present date/time pictured with it. And never buy "from a friend who knows so and so" ... just check out what Bruce up there is writing "I asked my buddy (dreamsofevo) and talked to Mike (mikatat) and blah blah bla" <--- that right there is just enough to give me a headache (no offense to bruce).


I sincerely hope everything works out for you, you get your money back, and that kid is handled and punished to the fullest extend of the law.
