Ma inspection sticker w/ stand alone
Ma inspection sticker w/ stand alone
I have an AEM stand alone on my car right now, I was wondering if anyone in MA has one and figured out how to pass inspection/know a place that will pass it.
Please PM ME.

I know it's been done, my buddy did it with his 240 but the kid moved out of state that hooked him up! The build is pretty much done! Now I'm looking to get this damn inspection sticker taken care of!
...i'm just pissin in the wind but is it possible to have power to a stock ecu, with just the odb2 only?... i know the tephra mods can have it look like all systems are a go.... so what if the ecu isn't physically connected into the car... just had power would it stil read?...idk..just saying
I dont know about his suggestion, But Ive been running the AEM since '03 and there is no way to get a sticker in Mass. As soon as the registry computer is plugged into the OBD it reads "NO corospondance" or something like that!

im a mass state inspector and you would have to install your factory ecu and drive for at least 50-100 miles so it can complete all the obd2 monitors. since its a 2001-up you can have up to 1 not ready, any less and the machine will spit out a black rejection sticker.
Just be careful...they're getting more and more crafty by the day.
I tried to get inspected today and it somehow resulted in an "Inspection cannot proceed" printout, accompanied with instructions to setup an appointment at a "Motorist Assistance Center". That means I'm currently locked out of going to any "everyday" inspection center until I head to a MAC.

... tephra mod lets you put all to ready status with a flash... i did this when i got inspected two years ago....no need to drive around
yeah, I have a guy that can set all codes to ready on a stock ECU but since this is stand alone there's not that can be done. I may just throw my old ecu in, MAF, and stock injectors in and just get a sticker.
