Buschur Stage 4 Kit

Hey guys,

Just a heads up. We installed a buschur stage 4 upgrade today on someones evo. The customer wanted the 272 cams instead of the 264 ones buschur uses. Anyway, dont use the AFC settings that come with the kit. The guy wasnt going to dyno, then decided to. The car shot right to 14.4 AFR when it started coming on boost. We added about 10% and the numbers came back down to 12.0 I dont know the AFR differences with using 264 as compared to 272, but i do the know the car knocked and pulled timing under those given settings. End of the tune the car made 338 whp and 317 ft lbs. Just letting everyone know in case this happens to you.

What Octane fuel was used? I'm Interested in that kit (and I realize race gas is optimal) and was curious about numbers on lower octane fuel.

it was on 93 octane.
