Going to need my evo 8 block bored and honed...is there any shops in jersey that specialize in our motors? I work minutes from Fischer machine shop in edison so would be convenient and i know hes popular with the honda crowd...Anyone been there or have any other suggestions?

I have seen their work not bad, I know JDS Motoring does good work. Also if you don't mind going all the way to L.I. Tach Motor Works does excellent work. If you staying in the central Jersey area just avoid Eddie's Machine Shop, other then that most are pretty good.

 

Looks like I'll prob end up going to Fischer machine shop plus it's down the road from my job...one of the popular evo shops local there uses them too for the engine work.

 

I ended up giving my stuff to Bobby at Fischer Machine in Edison, NJ. He's boring/honing/cleaning block..polishing crank...honing rods and file fittings rings. Got to know him and he's a cool guy. This is the machine shop that builds all the motors for Turbotrix since Turbotrix sold all there machines.
