PCD: Last year's version
Show respect Thai
, he trophied at Pro and Nationals, almost impossible to do first time out. You guys have no idea what we went through to get that car to work on the concrete in Lincoln. Rear ride height was raised, front bar was softened after Pro, all kind of rebound and compression changes after each heat in Pro and prior to tour (shook car out after all the changes on the practice course). Somehow Shoe drove around that in the Pro and got 3rd, I was 2nd to last. Car was not the car I drove all year and I was baffled. After much advice and borrowing some parts from other Evo's we did get it much better for the tour, was happy to finally trophy (drove tentative the 2nd day and was way off the pace, kind of disappointed I didn't let it all hang out like I do at home). For Shoe to trophy in each event with all the issues and his first time out to Nationals is really impressive, I could never do what he did with a car changing so much after each heat.
Just want to say thanks again to Aaron for letting me drive his car all year. Without his set up skillz probably would not have gotten wood at Nationals again. Took me 4 years to do anything there. I had a great time, totally wiped out today.
