PCD: Last year's version
this looks like a bad crash at Pitt International. glad to see him walked away, the car looks well built. a roll over could happen to anyone on track, from mechanical failure, fluids dropped, drivers mistake. the roof would have collapsed without a proper cage/roll bar as the car landed directly on the roof.
the post said the front driver side tire went down and he couldn't turn the car. i notice three things.
- i held on the the steering wheel when it hit the wall.
- why didn't they throw the red flag, looks like the car landed pretty close to the track.
- he got out the car while the track was still hot, even though the car wasn't on fire.

^ he said the front driver side tire completely dismount from the rim. i dont think throttle would do anything, the front wheel wasn't gripping. here's the video with data. the link above have the full crash

Damn, that crash was nuts! Glad he was able to walk away. Just goes to show you how dangerous this sport is. Anything can happen at anytime. One second everything is fine and the next you're headed for the Armco.
Hope errbody had a happy thanksgiving.

^ my sister is a gluten free vegan. She was the only other guest going to my mother's this year. It wasn't hard deciding to go with my aunt-in-law's which had me home by 7pm. I also got to mess around with a Harley. I never been on a bike or ridden one. It's a pig on two wheels. 800lbs. It was nice but I don't care much for bikes.
