PCD: Last year's version
I was gonna head to speed raceway tonight but it looks like none of the PCD crew is showing up. Got a buddy at my new job that's interested in doing some karting as well if we can plan ahead. Gonna need to make up hours to leave early since its a long *** trip from Princeton nj. Depending upon where we are going that is. Maybe we could do a two hour track rental like scca is doing at speed tonight. 50 bucks 2 hours open track.
Pete, its much cheaper than M1. M1 is like $8/qt... sometimes you can get it on sale for $6ish or maybe even better than that. I think I saw some Black Friday sales where it was $4.99/qt, but that is very hard to find. Guys were buying stores out when they heard about it.

It may be cheaper but thats only because of where your buying it. Walmart sells the 5qt jug of M1 for $27-28, thats basically the same price you're paying for the Rotella once you buy the gallon jug and an extra qt. I expect better from you, being a numbers guy.

why you fool cheaping out on oil. it cost you $40 to fill up a gas tank every week. or $200 of gas a weekend at the track. and you can't spend $20 more for good oil that you change 2-3 times a year. that's retard monkey move. i tell Tim B the same **** all the time when he says there's no difference between walmart brand syn vs Amsoil. why risk it for $20. it's not like you change oil every week.

don't make me break out the calculator, bish. 5.1qt/$28.00 = $5.49/qt $21.89/4qt = $5.48/qt. Clearly thats a HUGE cost savings.
I hardly see M1 that cheap, though. Usually its $35ish for the 5.1qt jugs unless they're on special, like Chu says. Doesn't matter much cause I am happy with the price and performance of the T6 so I see no need for me to switch.
he only has to change it 2-3 times a year cause his catch can gets filled & dumped after every shession and he just adds more oil to make up for it. Its like an automatic oil change each track day.

i change my oil about every 3-4 track days. i used 2 and half case of amsoil last year, that's 30 quarts.
