Ok,

Im stationed up here at Fort Drum in Watertown. I have 20% tint on my windows and my inspection is coming due. I have a buddy back home that normally takes care of me but I dont know anyone like that up in these parts.

Any locals know of a shop that doesnt care about tint? Willing to drive a little out of the way if need be.

I wouldn't worry about the tint.

The NY state inspection laws only say that a cracked glass will not pass or a sharp edge.

 

Yeah, tint does not make a difference at all.
