Hey guys, we all know how much our EVOs love the cool fall air!
What are some of your favorite routes in CT, Western Mass, and Eastern NY?
When I had my Mopar a local club organized 'foliage tours' which were cool, lots of stops to enjoy the New England Fall foliage, and other fall treats like corn, pumpkins, icecream etc. They were nice family outings so the wife and kids could enjoy too. Of course cruising with a line of awesome cars is always a blast! Anyone interested in something like that? I know it's not a traditional tuner event... but whatever!

Do you ever get out of the city for a drive? Up the Taconic? There are some really nice backroads along the river, and also along the NY/CT border.
I'm on 45 min. from the BX so lower NY is definately in the conversation!

495? Rlly? A major highway is a good drive? :P
There's a nice road out to the Quabbin Lake/Dam that NEEVO runs every fall... Through the woods, leaves, everything... I'll see if I can get one of the Western MA NEEVO members to chime in.

Lots of places/ roads to turn off of, after the busy tourist season its pretty nice out on the cape. Lots of great restaurants, back roads.

MT Washington auto road hands down the best road i ever driven in the states. But that is in NH. And still worth to drive there!
Here is what you dont read often at the beginning of the road...

then some quick picture of the road:

Close to NY -NJ is the RT 218 at Bear Mountain park/Storm King city.
In general Bear Mountain is a great scenery drive including 7 lakes drive.
More i think we should have a EvoM drive there

You should. And you will not regret it.
Maybe they will have another race there in 2013......
Then you can go to see the race and drive on that road. It is fun.
But close to ny is the best drive around is Bear Mountain park. The best there is the rt 218 as i said before. Right next to a little city Storm King. Its like a little Monte Carlo. Lol
