The string line is set the same distance on the front and rear bars (on smart strings or other kit), u measure left front hub to right front hub and move the bar until centered, then do the same for the rear. Smart strings also creates the box, u still need to center the box around the car, that's why you measure off the hub and move the box as a unit. Once you buy the kit and use it once you'll be kicking yourself for wasting the money(just like I did). DIY is way cheaper. Spend some money on a quality camber gauge. Also if you have an open deck trailer, it's a perfect alignment rack, easy to level with the car on it, and then u don't have to try and reach under a lowered evo. Tip #423 Use plastic garbage bags under the tires so they slide easily when adjusting alignment.
