wow just looked at how old my tires are and they are from July of 2008

 

Brakes are cheap. Buy a half decent set of tires and spend the rest on track time.

just don't brake hard and your brakes will last forever... or don't drive hard and your tires will last just as long.

look at Dek. he bought Z1's back in 2008 and they were still 3/4 tread in 2013 when they finally delaminated.
