PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
so theres an 8+ week ETA on RS3's...looks like i need to pick a different tire this year.
i dunno...i wasnt a fan of how i could grease up the z1's although they were 235's not 255. have you run on both tires?
nto1's are the same price as a set of z2's.

I've ran both yes. I never felt the dunlops get greasy, I feel like people just say that cause others do.. The sidewall is definitely stiffer on the Dunlop, the Kooks feel soft to me. They both have tons of grip, it's really comes down to personal preference. Dunlops are better in the wet for sure.
NT01's aren't going to last very long I don't think, and don't get caught out in the rain in them.

ive definitely felt the dunlops get greasy first hand, but like i said it was a smaller tire. i really liked the rs3's and didnt want to make a tire change this year so i could focus on driving not car changes.
from what ive read the nt01's will cord before they heat cycle out and a lot of people get almost as much time as i did out of my rs3's.
the maxxis RC1 is also on my radar. the s2k guys love em and they apparently also last quite awhile (said to be 6 hour of track time range)

rs3's are pretty much a semi r comp arent they?
i just wish the star specs werent $125 more than a set of rs3's.
