I've had terrible ideas to buy that car from h and resurrect it...just afraid the frame/cage is damaged

is not a bad idea at all. I think frame and cage is in good shape. The doors open and closed fine. Its a lit of body and most of it is custom work from CBRD. If you are serious, take it to a body shop and see how bad the frame is before you buy it

Was wondering why my Evo is burning so much Oil!!!!

Another.. how do i read a dipstick? Where should it be once cold and hot?

Pull dipstick from motor. If it has any oil on it, motor is overfilled which is why it is smoking and burning the oil. Drain oil until no longer on the dipstick. Problem solved. Chur welcome.

Also, have you changed the oil lately? New oil has many processing agents in it that must burn off during early use. If your oil is too fresh, you will burn "so much oil". I recommend not changing your oil... ever. Chur welcome.

^ troof. as the processing agents burn off, it will make the oil thicker, and that's more better for the engine. eventually, it will evaporate into grease.
