My car is getting a little beat up and would love to give it some TLC. Any trusted detailers out there? Looking for quality and a decent value. In this service I believe sometimes you get what you pay for.

Big A is a fail. He was renting a space in Staten Island 1 once a week. He could barley fill his spots. Sorry, but big A has to many untrained people working for him. I was at a meet in Long Island once, one of his workers dropped a cloth & scratched up one the cars real bad. Since I have seen his work , you can do better plus his prices are ridiculous. He is immature on a personal level. He has Napoleon complex.

 

Well I guess like any other business, some people have good experiences, some have bad. I'd be unnerved and reluctant if I witnessed that too. Given his attention to detail, I wouldn't be surprised if he canned the guy. More importantly, did he fix the car and make it right with the customer...

All I know is he did a fantastic job on my black Infiniti in October. After being disappointed by a local shop earlier in the summer, I did a fair amount of research and found him in another forum. A very important point is he's willing to post before/after pics of his work out there for all to see. He was very accommodating to me, did the work on the weekend and even let me pick it up on a Sunday coming back from a weekend trip to LI.
