Going on holiday. What to do???

Hi all,

I hope this is the best place to post.

In feb next year, my future wife and I are going on our honeymoon in the north east region of the states from the uk.

We are starting off with a few days in ny then driving across to see Niagra falls, from there, upto New Hampshire, then Portland and finishing in Boston.

I'm just wondering if there's much going on Evo/car related in those parts? It would be awesome if I could meet a few us enthusiasts to compare notes with.

I'm also in the British army and I am told that being in the forces can get you a lot in the states. Does this apply to the north east.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Tom.

Not really too sure about car events going on because of the season and too far in advance. You should definitely check out NYC if you've never been. Tons of tourist attractions and things to see/do.

I was just kinda wondering if there are any shops etc I could check out? Parts etc are often cheaper over in the states than in the uk.

You may be interested in checking out Sean ivey's tuning shop (iveytune). It's not far from NYC and he tunes a lot of evo's/gtr's

I'm not too familiar with the other locations but with regards to Boston there's a ton to do. Unfortunately its wicked cold here during the winter but if you're interested in skiing or snowboarding New Hampshire is the place to be.

In Boston, we have tons of great restaurants and attractions depending on what you want to see. How long are you in town for?

We are roughly 4 days in each location. Already found loads of touristy things to do. Just wanted to meet some like minded Evo fans and check out your hardware lol.

I'd be down to meet up, you're more than welcome to come by the shop if you'd like. My evo will be in winter storage by then but we always have 1-2 evo's in the shop mixed in with some gtr's and subies.

Jealous of your evo 4...

That'd be mega cool mate. I'll get the post code of our hotel (Boston w or something) and see where you are from there.

We should be in Boston from 25th-28th feb.

Sounds good! Hit me up when you're in town, hopefully I won't be off traveling for the day job.

As far as the military thing, Newyork city is the place to go. They love the military.
