Hi all! First off Happy New Year! Hope 2014 will be a great year for all of us..
I picked up my 2014 CB Evo GSR during the last weekend of November, 2013.. Gotta say I've fallen in love with my evo. It has the sight & sound, sunroof & leather and interior package... I recently installed the Rally Armor UR mudguards.
I traded in a 11 Lexus is350 fsport for the evo. The Lexus was a nice ride but I dreaded the winter especially when there was a severe winter weather alert like the one headed our way! With the evo, I actually look forward to snow..
Aside from the snow, I love how the car handles period!. I'm taking turns at speeds I never imagined possible & the car handles it. I'm amazed and actually afraid at the same time.. I'm still learning all the features of the car,(ie keyless features, Bluetooth etc)..
I'm not looking to mod anytime soon or until I put some miles on the car but the next thing I'll be looking forward to is the Cobb AP...

Welcome, and I hope you put some snow tires or all seasons on there. The evo is probably worse than any rear-wheel drive car in the snow with the stock summer tires lol.

 

^ definitely. those stock tires do horrible during the winter.

 

Thank god this winter seems over. This snow was rough on my BBS's -_- lol must have Winter tires and rims

 

Yes the winter seems to be over finally.. But I was fortunate that I traded in my lexus for the evo. To my luck, it actually snowed the night I traded it in. It wasn't that major. But still, had I kept the Lexus, I would have been stuck on the road that night. And let's not forget to mention the countless other times I would have been stuck with the Lexus. With the evo, I had no major problems driving this winter stock tires and all. The sawc is very impressive IMO. Especially in major snow storms. Snow tires are not needed but I am considering all seasons come time for the next tire change.
