Interested in buying an evo X

I live in New York but am currently working in Biddeford Maine. I am thinking about getting away from the subies and make the move over to a 2014 white or dark grey x. My problem is all the dealers I talked to won't let me test drive them which is very understandable. So I was curious if anyone in the portland, biddeford Maine area would be willing to let me drive their car and get a feel for it before I waste me time going to a dealer and talking to them about one.

Thanks in advance guys.

If you ask me it's not very understandable to not allow a potential buyer to test drive a car. How can a dealer expect to sell cars just by looks. I test drove a couple before my purchase. I am in Minnesota and maybe the rules are different, but still doesn't make sense to me. I would say get pre-qualified for the car, that way he knows your serious.

Sounds like an ******* dealer.
When I bought my X they asked if i wanted to test drive her. I refused the test drive because i couldn't wait. I wouldn't of come back if I test drove her that day. (I had an 8 MR at the same time, so I knew EVO's)

The EVO is everything you imagined and more, I'm about to hit 80k miles and I still can't have enough of her. (can't say the same for my wife! lol)

If he's giving you a deal get her, if not Go shop someplace else.

+1 on the 2 above posts! You are spending some serious money, how can they NOT let you at least test drive what you might buy/commit to? I was able to test drive a IX before I bought mine. I bought my car new and like the post above, my IX-MR has 104K on it and I can NEVER get enough of her...I hate to have to park her. (Wife comment, +1)

Best of luck with your future car! Oh, and congrats for leaving 'team blue'!

Yeah they said once I'm pre qualified and have a down payment then they would allow it. And thanks guys just from what you guys have said I'm even more excited to make the switch. Love the subie but just isn't as easy to make power witch we all know. Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
