I bought my Lancer from South Park Mitsubishi in Pittsburgh the week the Lancer was released. I asked a salesman prior to the US Lancer getting here exactly what it would be, (specs, price, etc.) and I was told by one ignorant salesman that it would share the same specs as the EVO, so I knew I was dealing w/some people that had no clue what they were talking about. Anyways, these guys didn't know anything about RMR or anything else regarding aftermarket parts or even the rally aspect of the European Lancer, so they were of no help when it came to improving my car. A year later I took my car to the dealership to get it inspected and told them that if they got the time to take a look at the shocks and the alignment because the shocks felt blown and it seemed to pull, but if they didn't just to make sure it got inspected since my stickers were expired. I left it there and called twice during the day to see if they got to it and they kept telling me no. So finally, at 5:30 when I got off work I called them again and asked if they were done and they said, "We weren't able to inspect it, but the mechanic was able to take the car out on his lunch break and he didn't find anything wrong with the alignment or the shocks." I was so pissed I was at a loss for words. They took my car for a joyride, said they didn't find anything wrong without even looking at the alignment or the shocks and my car still needs inspected and they didn't seem to find anything wrong with that. The soonest they said they would be able to get my car back in for inspection would be 3 weeks from now!!! I took it to Pep Boys and they did it in an hour the same day. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR OR HAVE ANY SERVICE DONE AT SOUTH PARK MITSUBISHI. These people are incompetant and should not be allowed anywhere near a car, let alone sell and service them!!!
