Ayc pump dealership

So recently (past few days) my tarmac light will flash a few times after driving for about 30mins (85*-93*) no other lights or warnings have came up as of now. I am worried that I might eventually have to replace the ayc pump based upon what I have researched and read. My question is, has anyone had luck with getting this fixed under warranty WITH mods on the car ?
I can't understand how a claim like this can be voided by having any mods as this problem is a corrosion issue and regardless of mods or stock these pumps are failing at a alarming # . No mods will corrode a mechanical pump unrelated to power making parts, suspension parts, exterior parts, ect... I amazed at how this issue is being taken by mitsubishi. Should have been a better design made and a recall issued to resolve this problem so many of us are encountering.

Same thing is happening to me. There's an extended warranty, to 100k, on the AYC pump if Im not mistaken. Took it to Bell Mitsubishi in Rahway to check it out. Basically they said they can't change it until the pump takes a dump. So you have to wait until the 4wd service required light comes on then theyll change it. I know so stupid if i were you I would just it to the dealership so its documented, in case they claim its out of warranty.

Forgot to say I'm modded. Depends on the dealership. Ive had 2 recalls done @ Bell and never had a problem.

ayc

I know this is old but just in case people are looking. I took mine to the mitsu dealership in concord NH, they said it will not be covered if there is a tune. Other than that you should be good to go. I would wait the whole time while you are there though. I dropped mine off and the car had five more miles added on, and my comp clutch wouldn't grab after. F**king dealership...
