coral NC has some of the best roads in the country. Actually deals gap or the tail of the dragon is the curviest and most technical road in all of north america!
There are numerous elevation changes, switchbacks etc. The road is very fun and dangerous. When I was there last year (I drive 6 hours every year) somebody died while we were there.
Here is a map and another chart that maps out the elevation changes on the 11 mile run. I once had a bag of doritos explode in my car because of th erapid and significant elevation changes
You should try it sometime its less then a hour away from ashville

I am a girl that is into cars, so they do exist.
Are you hot? Pics or ban!! PICS OR BAN!

Stop offering this girl that you don't even know a chance to drive your freaking evo. You don't know crap about this girl and you're offering for her to drive your car?!?! I wouldn't let someone that I don't know drive my car. My car is way too important to me and you should think before you jump all over this random girl.
I don't think they would let this "girl" drive their cars, as it is obvious that this is not to be taken seriously. Well, I'd let a girl drive my car, if she gave me the best sex ever!

Oh, again PICS OR BAN!

But, I never said I was hot, and I didn't know i needed to be hot in order to share an obsession with a car. And that's really all this is about. I'm a bit disappointed that my "hotness factor" plays such a big role in my passion for a car. I kinda figured I'd be among like minds here. I mean,... if you're gonna spend $30K on something that gets crap mileage you must love it for something beyond it's practicality, and only us rally freaks would find it's appearance sexy.

Maybe the Sentinal dude was the black Evo that you followed. Excellent writeup of the chase btw.

I owned a black '03 evo, Dark tinted windows, and tinted tails and sidemarkers for the past year. I live in Portland, drive like an idiot a fair amount and love to toy with other drivers. I have no recollection of any of the cars that I have toyed with in the past year(it has been a hobby for the past 15 years). It may have been me but I have no recollection whatsoever.

The good news is that I sold it a week ago and picked up an '05 Graphite Gray MR. I am also not romantically available but if you'd like to go for a ride in a new MR sometime feel free to send me a note. I'm pretty sure I'd scare the hell out of you on Skyline or Germantown.

I would LOVE to go for a ride in an MR!

However, I moved to a small coastal hick towne about 200 miles away from Portland. But I am in Portland now and until Friday afternoon,... I got a new job and they sent me up here for a week of training. My days are taken up but my evenings should be free. For a ride in an MR I'd cancel just about any plan.

Do you really drive like an idiot or is that just your cute way of saying you drive hard? I'm assuming it's the latter. Right? Skyline/Germantown was the first set of twisties I mastered before I moved on to tighter and sharper places. Since then the concrete has gone to crap, the traffic has grown too thick, and it's gotten way too much legal attention. But beggers can't be choosers. If you can pencil me in some time this week I'm game. Even if you do make thoughts of my demise flash before my eyes,... I can't think of a better way to go than in that car of yours.
