Returned from River Run on the 24th
Sadly I had a problem with my car after leaving Subway, so I'm the first one to return I would imagine. It was such a beautiful day for a drive too
I hope everyone else had a blast, and I'll post the few pictures I took when I get a chance. The people I met were really cool.
EDIT: *Griping removed*
Anyway, enough of my troubles, hope everyone else had a great day! All those cars looked so cool driving around the twisties and even just parked together. I hope we all get to do that again soon! Next time hopefully my piece of crap car will hold together lol.

Just got Back from the Run and IT was AWESOME
We had a great time a total of 23 cars made it we had 11 SRT-4's 6 Evo's and 6 OZ Rally lancers It was great.
We ended up in detroit first 5 cars in were all Mitsu's 3 evo's headed up the pack but the SRT guys were there withen about 5 minutes.
Only 1 person got pulled over but no ticket so we came clean there.
1 person wrecked his Black Evo on the way home I didn't get details of the wreck but apparently he hit a 5th wheel I saw the ambulance heading over there so hopefully he is ok here are some of the pics I took.
I got about 40 pics with a 4 megapixel camera so If anyone wants the full size copies of any of these pics (I had to cut them down to 30% of size) Or other pics I have let me know I can email them.

safe and sound
I just got back from the River run… It was a blast. Other then my CEL came on right after we left the mall parking lot, leaving me with hardly any power until I got up to about 4,500 RPMs. With the help of a few others I got the problem taken care of; not sure what the problem was but its going to the dealer for service on Monday for sure. Passing a Forestry patrol officer doing a little over 70 in a 45, he didn’t have time or room to turn around. He ended up sending another patrol officer down to the little high mountain general store in Detroit to check things out. No one got a ticket though. I had a great time and meet a lot of new people. Everyone that came I just want to say thank you for making this trip a wonderful experience.

whoo, man that was good trip. for all of you that bailed out for the ride down, and took the other route, you missed out......... big time. the evos, and the srt's fought it out................. fast. tyler did an amazing job of keeping up, and we bombed. that was a GREAT road. thanks goes out to Sentinal, and Tward for putting it all together, posting maps, ans weather info. i was super impressed with the neon guy as well. they all seem like a really good bunch. super freindly, and great people. i am not sure how they ended up outnumbering us- when we invited them, but next time we will have to bring it full on. we will invite them again though for sure. anyone that will drive from seattle, just to drive some more (i think that there was 5 total that did that) is pretty amazing. hope all of you that didnt make it can make it next time. we sure had fun, and got basically the best driving experience that you can get on a road that is stillopen to the public. like sentinal said 130 is fast, but averaging what had to be near 80 almost the WHOLE way down is pretty fast as well. it was nice to meet/see everyone again. lets start planing another one.
Silver EVO VIII from Tacoma, WA here. It took me 4.5 hours to get back home!!! DANG!!!!, I put some miles on the ride today, but it was WAY WORTH IT!!!! Finally got my confirmation for this forum. I had a blast today!!! It was great meeting all of you. I will apoligize first for not remembering any names, I was caught up in the day. I tried to hang with the pack in front but didnt want to overstep my bounderies. The accident everyone saw was the Ford Diesel and 5th wheel with a Ford Taurus. Could tell by the hubcaps only. Hope no one was hurt. We need to plan a get together in WA. Would be fun I think? There are alot of lancers here in Tacoma, WA. I will track them down. Plus we can get some Subies in the mix. Well I gotta work in tha morning so I will hollar at you guys later. Again thanks for the GREAT day. Late.

As for the run, I had a blast. I wish it hadn't rained because being passed by srt-4s going over a buck while I was at 85mph, while practically jumping bumps in the road was quite enough to deal with, I didn't need rain =) I enjoyed meeting all the srt-4 guys, they were cool to converse with and such.
Overall, I think I held up well considering the oz's shortcomings. But I apologize to anyone that felt trapped behind me at my slow slow speed of 85mph.
Aight, here's my teaser image. I tried out some software to merge images into a panoramic shot, but it doesn't work that well, you can see the seams, but it gives a pretty good idea

and if anyone needs space to put up images I can get you the info for the ftp to upload pics.
