my friend is the manager for walker renton mitsubishi. he will hook us up with leather for $720 installed. 2 tone is more and i can find out if anyone is interested. let me know if you guys want his number. by the way they do an awesome job.

the leather seats are from walker renton mitsubshi. i looked at a yellow oz they did (2 tone black and yellow with lancer stitched in) and it looked really nice. i was going to get a dvd system for my car but now i think i'm going to get leather instead. they usually charge over 1000 for customers, but sonce he's my friend he said he would hook us up. i told him about the forum and he said he'd check it out. hopefully he'll become a vendor. his name is yahn and he is a really nice guy. call him or email me if your interested. also remember to mention that rick sent you or you wont get that price

 

Is this a possible hookup for other Mitsu/RMR parts also?

 

i'll check with him tomarrow to see what all the parts department carrys. i noticed stuff for the eclipse and thier new suv like altezas and stuff. like i siad hes pretty cool so i'll see what he can do. he is the sales manager and parts department has their own manager but i'll see what he can hook us up on. do you have something in mind?

yea i saw the black and yellow leather, it was tite...but they sold the car...so wen i went to get mine it didn't hav leather but the guy knew me cuz i always went to look at da lancer so he sed he'd get it done for me...at first he like charged us like 1000 but den my mom bargained big time so we bascially got it for free...haha i think...its in da shop now...i already miss it...buts its worth da wait...itz gonna b yellow and black dat say oz-rally...its gonna b ready tommorow nite, dats wen imma take pix and put them up...i cant wait...hehe

eh i dunno about getting it done at the dealer..well 720 should be about right for a leather seat job. but check around for other stores. its only about 200 per seat to do leather. 2 tone shouldn't be any more because its still the same amount of stitching and the colored leather costs the same as black.

 

Did you ever find out if we can get some other RMR goodies from your friend? I might be interested in getting a set of Ralliart shocks if possible.

 

i can think of lots of things id take over leather, thats a lot of money to change the fabric of the seats, id get 2 racing seats for that price

 

yeah 2 raceing seats but then its not custom cause everyone has raceing seats and the leather job does front 2 seats and back seats.... and they dont loook stupid like raceing seats...... cause raceing seats dont recline... well most dont but some do and they arnt leather they r cloth and for leather race seats which i dont know if they have would be like more then $800 each
