Lightbulb Dealership in the North Area- nothing to do with being modfriendly!

I wanted to post this in the mod-friendly but it would have been off topic.... so here goes

This probably will start an arguement but Mnt is run by a bunch of morons... I tried to buy a 2.5 RS before I bought my Ralli-art and they tried to rape me on the deal ... they wanted 18999 for it... I had proof of one down the road that had less miles and was cheaper and since it was a Subaru dealership it had a better warranty. They told me that is was probably wrecked (Car Fax said it wasn't) and that they probably had something up there sleeve. So when I pressed the issue about the car they told me to leave... The sales manager and the guy working with me asked me to leave if I wasn't going to buy the car then and now... I had only been there 2 days once to look at it and one day to do paperwork....

So I told them it was bull**** and left... A week later I went to Korum... don't know what kind of issues you guys have had with them but my 02 lancer was only worth 6700 and I owed 8 on it so they gave me payoff, no payments for 45 days, nothing down and I still walked out of their with A BRAND NEW 04 Ralli-art for 19,500... my payments are only 362 a month... and Mnt for the 2.5 RS they wanted payment damn near 4 and a half a month... for the same finance time and interest rate.... and even then they couldn't guarantee me my interest rate... the night I walked into Korum they had my payment and my interest rate they had the color I wanted and the package... the salesman was straight he didn't want me to sign anything up front or make any written promises that he could use against me later on if I decided I didn't want the car... the finance guy over at the main store showed me right on the computer screen that KORUM MITSUBISHI only made $47 dollars off of the car.... the bank will make more money in interest! I can't say much for Walker because they tried to sell me a car and when I went back to look at it he said it was an 04 Ralli-art and the friggin car was 4 lug but he insisted on the fact that is was 04 ralli-art.

Walker didn't try to pressure me into anything but Mnt did and I have heard nothing but stuff from the people I live in the dorms on base that have bought cars from them... about be offered crappy deals and ridiculous offers on there cars... there was a guy that got promised payoff and when he went buy a Ralli-art they told him he could only get a 1000 less then what it was worth

Your best bet to buy a car is Korum.. I know Tacoma is closer but if you don't plan on buying and Evo , because that seems to be the only car anyone has any luck on at Mnt., don't go to Mnt Mitsu.... and i remember someone saying something about Josh Nestorov.. yeah I don't know if he is still there but he is clueless...

Go to Korum, know what you want and I can personally guarantee you honest, reliable service, if want pm me and I will go with you.. or pm me OhCanada (sp?)because he is the one that hooked up the deal at Korum for me and they didn't do anything he said they wouldn't....

That is weird... We had talked to both Korum and Mountain. Korum treated us like crap, like we didn't mean anything to them and never called us back on the Evo. We went there 2 or 3 times to follow up on the Evo and got nothing. We got a call from Mountain when they switched ownership, because 5 star never called us back either. We were there test driving an Evo, talked to them about not wanting a used one, and they had some shipped to their dealership and contacted us once the one we wanted came in so that we can check it out and test drive. We ended up going home with that car that night. Mountain has always treated us like we had meant something to them and they have really exceptional service. They know Joey and I by our names and treat us with nothing but respect. We had a really good experience with them. I love my red Evo and I am really glad that we bought it from Mountain. The owner, Steve, Sales Manager, Glen, and finance, Casey are awesome. They are honest and reliable and I wouldn't think of going elsewhere.

I don't know what you ran into, or how about your scenerio went down, but I am absolutely surprised. Did you end up getting your car? Best of luck to you.
