PIR track day video

I'm driving the silver Lancer Evo with turbo back exhaust, and coilover suspension. I turned the boost down to just below stock setting for this event (around 18psi). Also, I put my stock wheels/tires back one since I didn't feel enough threads on the studs were catching by running spacers. Based of the video of that session I was doing pretty consistent 1:23 lap times, not quite as quick as the uber S4 or the wicked fast Z06 that showed up. I found a section with the father/son red evo's.

The camera position makes the video look kinda slow, but I'm actually doing about 135-140mph on the main straightaway.

great vid, thanks for the post. O/T- but what track days allow you to run the chicane/festival curves. i have seen vid of cars doing it, so is it up to the people that put it all together. (granted that is a pretty dangerous corner)

Actually the last audi club day ran with the chicane, this is the first time I've run the full straightaway in quite a while.

nice driving . Seriously bumpy vid though - you need a better camera mount!

Most car clubs including Audi typically run with the festival curves in. However the infield area of the curves was just paved and the driving surface had fresh concrete surfacing. So, we ran the straight.
