That's what I was thinking. That was my first mod on my WRX.

 

congrats on your smart decision to go with the evo....
i had a $500 deposit down and was about a week away from gettin an 05 sti eventhough I had never driven one before. The dealership finally got one in and I went and test drove it then went right after to the Mitsu dealership and 2 hrs later I was driving home in my new evo8....and I never had any regrets :-)

 

^ same story here. I left the house that fateful morning headed to the scooby dealership to get myself an STi. I test drove the car and thought it was fast but I wasn’t excited about buying it. I wanted to buy it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to through money down. I found myself thinking things like: well, it does handle pretty good I guess, the pink decals aren’t that g@y, I can always get an aftermarket hood, do I really need leather or a sunroof?… I decided to walk out the door and think things over. It just so happens that the mitsu dealership was pretty darn close to where I was so I says to myself, is says, “self, I’ve read some good things about this new fangled Evolution VIII, I should check it out”. The rest my friend, is what they call history…
