Talking Woodburn July 2nd, Imports

Who is going to the Woodburn import race this weekend. A couple people from PIR this Friday said they where going. Woodburn is a fast track, compared to PIR anyway, so we all should get personal records.

With my old Civic my PIR Record was 13.125 @ 105mph and my Woodburn record was 12.761 @ 107mph. I was actually in the finals of the NHRA Sport Compact series when it ran in Woodburn back in 2002 and won $250.

It costs $25 to race plus you need to buy the card if you have not raced there yet this year.

I tried to find more information on it but I couldn't. How late does this go to and what is it all about? Is it just like the late night drags?

The gates will open at about 8-8:30am and will last till the competition rounds are over. It is not exactly like the late night drags, this is a real competition with classes.

You will get about 2-5 "practice" runs before the competition rounds start.

They will have a couple clases for bracket racing wich most of us will be in the faster class. They will also have a few heads up classes, I'm not sure on the specifics of the heads up classes yet.

The tree will work just like the late night drags.

Badass! You must need a clutch because I saw you at PIR pull a 12.17 @ 116, on supposedly a slower track. Nice Job, it's cool to see an Evo with 4 or 5 bolt-ons win that sort of event.
