Drive Away Hunger October 22

Good EVENING EVOLUTIONM.NET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the wake of the recent Katrina Hurricane catastrophe, the amount of support and help has been phenominal and to tell you the truth, anyone who helped should feel toasty warm inside because you did agood thing and I applaud you.

That being said, I fear that the Pacific Northwest will be faced with a similar travesty, hunger.

In response to that, I am asking that you help me fight hunger here at home. It doesn't take much to make sure those less fortunate get something to eat this winter season and we're going to make sure we have a good time helping people too!

What: Drive Away Hunger
When: October 22 2005 starting at 10:00am
Where: The starting line will be at the Park and Ride at 272nd Street in Federal Way. (it's right off the freeway and very hard to miss) The end line will be the NW Fish Food Bank located at the Fircrest Presbyterian Church.
Why: Because charity starts at home.

I am on my knees begging you to please spread the word about this event and to pour your hearts onto this event. I know its hard and I know we are tapped out from life and our own day to day lives but there are those who dont even have a car to drive to the store to buy the food they cant afford. We cannot sit by and let people starve.

Not that anyones need incentive but the largest club or group donation will get a prize as well as the largest single donation.

PM or e-mail me if you want to ehlp because I need lots of help spreading the word!!

-Thanks-

Dustin

This Just In!!!!!!

Thanks to the forward thinking from the fine folks at www.dynamicimage.us and the good people of the NWFish Food banks and Fircrest Presbyterian church, we will be holding a small show and shine after the drive on October 22.

The time line should now look a little like this:

10:00 –10:15am - Drivers Meeting 272nd park and ride in Federal Way
10:15 – 11:00am - Drive Away Hunger!! End at the Fircrest Presbyterian Church
11:00 – 1:30pm - Drop Off donations, present some awards and have a late season show and shine getting to know the hundreds of members of the communities brought together by a common drive to defeat the desperate hunger situation many of the areas needy families are facing on a daily basis.

okay, so sorry I've not bumped my thread in a few days, its been busy trying to prepare for eveything I've got going on.

Jo- are you working at all this weekend? I'd like to stop by and discuss the event with you if you still need me to. I really would love to see a few dealerships out there and I think Mountian is a perfect bunch of folks to help out here.

Hey, just like to know if youve put together flyers or anything like that. I plan on showing up and Id like to get the rest of my unit involved so If you have anything promoting this I shure would like to get my hands on it so I can get max participation out of my soldiers.
