HA!! Lookin awesome Kyle. I'm so jealous....I didn't know you got a lift. I'll have to now come over all the time and pay visits....oil changes, gear oil changes, exhaust changes, etc, etc.

Life becomes so much easier yeah?? LOL But occasionally you've got to miss rolling around on the cold concrete right? ;-)

The lag is from the poorly designed turbine housing, not the turbo cartridge.

Kyle does the stub shaft have a machined groove on it or is it flat? I used their kit years ago on a DSM and had a ton of problems with the seal leaking. I replaced it with a mitsu stub shaft and never had a problem again.
You're not resizing the rods with new hardware?

Wow, the 3037 has a hugh inlet! My 3071R doesnt look that big on the inlet side. What are does extra spaces between the turbine wheel and the housing?

I've heard other people complain about the turbine housing on the ATP kit....all I can say is that the kit I bought was really cheap!

As for the BSE kit, I didn't take a pic of it...which is too bad because now I don't remember. I'll take a look again tonight and try and see.

Also got a pic up of the clutch going in.

Make sure you have the painted balance marks lined up on the clutch. In the pic, I think I see one blue mark on one of the floaters, but not on the other.

Hmmm, I think we had all the marks lined up but now I'll have to double check.

I may have some questions for you then, but the results sound encouraging. Do you happen to have any pics of the setup? Almost ready to put the head back on the block...finished up valve springs last night after debating whether to pay a shop to do it. Total PITA but we got it with a custom tool.

Maybe later if and when things break. I'm not looking for all out straight line acceleration, trying to keep a balanced package that is managable on the roadcourse.

Finally got the car running tonight, been taking lots of pics but haven't had time to post them. Should be able to button everything up tomorrow night and start tweaking with the tuning. The cams sound super aggressive, to the point that the car was stalling a couple times until it warmed up completely. Pretty much what I wanted....but I can see the daily driveability plumetting already. I'll try and get all the pictures up this weekend.
