Good deal Kyle. Any chance I could go for a ride once it's tuned so I can see how it feels for response? I've heard a lot about the ATP not spooling up well, but I'd like to see first hand. I'm still debating what to do later, I love the AMS setup, but for another 2k.....

 

Anytime Nick, it's going to be a little while before it gets tuned properly though. Honestly I would much rather have gone with the AMS kit along with a stroker....but I came across a really good deal and decided to try this route.

 

That's fine, I'm not even going to pick up an evo until January. First I have to actually finish putting the eclipse back to mostly stock and sell all the parts of it. Should get a bit over $10k to put towards an evo and a little left over for mods.
After running the 2.4 in the eclipse I think I will definetly have to build a 2.3 for the evo eventually. It's so much more fun to drive on the street with a large turbo.

 

Coolbeans... Good luck sounds like ur going to have a lot of fun on the road with that kit

It's up and running, just in need of fine tuning but safe for now. Still working on all the pics and gathering some video to post shortly. It's a completely different car and requires a little extra work to drive now, but sounds absolutely badass when on boost.

 

is your wastgate external or internal??..mines external and its crazy sounding on boooooost

 

Congrats Kyle!!! You put a ton of work into that thing- great to hear it's up and running!!! Now tune that thing so I can get a ride!

 

It's the external Tial wastegate...I think it's the same one you have.
