Washington Dealer Experiences
Folks,
I was wondering what experiences you've been having with dealers here in Washington. I've got a deposit on the first arrival at Courtesy Mitsubishi in Poulsbo, but I still haven't been given an arrival date or color/option info.
I have, however, seen the Evo in the showroom at Seattle Mitsubishi (red, high wing, sunroof). They were asking over sticker so I passed.
Anyone out there with good ties to a dealer that's willing to sell for list, or at least allow a test drive?
Who else is on a waiting list, and where? When are you expecting delivery?

I work at Korum mitsubishi in Puyallup, near Tacoma, we have one in the show room that some guy cancelled on. It's a loaded silver EVO. They area askin $35 for it....and they want to sell it bad! so you can stop by, or I can hook you up with the number via PM or email...TooFast23@aol.com...thanks..late!
If you wanna ride down to Vancouver, I'll get you in touch with some folks at Dick Hannah
. I know for a fact they were allotted 5 Evos from the onset, all of which weren't spoken for.

If i were u i would wait till the 90 day markup is gone and then head to aurbun mitsu. They want to move the car so if you are serious and show em u are im sure u can get it down or if lucky gone korums people from ones i have meet are kinda rude others here agree and 5 star in tacoma has great service bad sales people
Take along the boycott list and show which ever dealer you decide on that we mean business about msrp, plus i think i would be a great bargaining tool because then they cannot say the whole supply demand bs.
maybe even bring out their true colors also, and yes some of the people at korum mits are real jerks

Yeah I called down to Korum asking about it.........man I hate that 35k price tag. Im wanting a new flavor car but that is just too much for a mitsu in my opinion. Guess Im stuck waiting....for a price drop. But man I want one sooo bad!! I saw my first in person the other night in issaquah goin home. Saw a pair of HID's pullin quick from behind waited till it caught up to see what it was and whalla..there she was a bright red one. Man those cars look great!!! I nodded at the guy and gave him a thumbs up (pro'bly didnt see me cuz it was dark out). Those cars are quick off the line got a little taste of that, but wasnt too impressed from a roll (we had to slow cuz of traffic and a light) thats when I was able to pass him. They got some *****. Who cares who passed who cuz I was extremely jealous of his ride!!!!
just to let you know korum is now down to 32500 but i hate them they screwed me twice and now thats bout it. you need to check y our papers when you buy and they check them again because they give you one price and rewrite it and make you pay more for you vehicles i learned that the hard way
I had an unpleasant experience at the Bellevue Mitsu dealer, the one located off Bell-Red road. Granted, some people rub me wrong, but this guy, sheeesh... i visit dealers frequently, this guy was the worst, by far.
also, in order to be lucky enough to purchase an evo from them they require you to get on a list with 4 or 5 other potential buyers and then bid against each other when the car comes available... smart...

yo.. just to tell u guys, i actually work at Dick Hannah, and i've seen the last 2 evos we had sold for $29,995. they have weekend ads that are in the paper, u have to look for the ad, but yeah, ur not supposed to know that :-p.. word around here is were supposed to get few more, one of them is a blue one and i dont know what else. i was going to buy an evo, could have gotten it for 27, but instead i got a oz for 14, so i'm happy, hopefully getting ready to work on it soon.
. well.
later
If anyone is looking for the next best thing to an evo I have a 2002 oz 5 speed turbo charged lancer with lots of goodies. I custom built the kit from using my 91 awd eclipse 14b turbo. It is actually my wifes car and we just had a baby so that is the reason for selling it. I am not looking to really make any money just walk away from the car payment. Check out the picts I have posted in my vehicles.
