Must have brought it over as a "kit car" or something. I'm not saying that he built it, just that Ariel pulled the engine out and shipped it seperately or something to slip it by. Sweet though.

I imagine it was scary fast around the track.

 

I looked into this a while ago. Ariel sells these state side to be street legal in some states. The place that builds them in the US is actually in southern Oregon.

 

^ there is a guy in longbeach, or some other southern WA town that owns one. i have seen it on the road more than once. once in the rain, he and the passenger had on full face helmets. AWESOME.
